I'm Adam Reece. If you hadn't already noticed, I'm a pilot. I've been flying for over 4 years now and rated in a range of aircraft, I hold licenses to fly single and multi engine aircraft, to fly in IFR conditions and ratings that include turboprop engines and G1000 Avionics. The majority of my flying is spent serving the Civil Air Patrol where I fly missions for the Air Force carrying out Search and Rescue, Drug Demand Reduction and Homeland Security. I'm a licensed Paramedic and can also be launched on a ground team to provide Medical Assistance in the field to victims of plane crashes or other major incidents.
So a pipe burst at my squadron during opening and the Air Force Fire Department showed up to turn off the water and yes the water on the ground is from inside the building twenty yards away… Time for a new building!
Flew in this today on a sortie and NEVER will again it’s a freaking oven in that old plane, it would’ve been fine at like 5,000 feet but we were just at 1,000 looking for a beacon and it got incredibly hot, especially in that damn flame resistant flight suit.
My car packed up and ready for the very long drive from Tracy, CA to Seabrook, TX! And She made it with NO issues! With all that damn weight she was still pulling 85 MPH down the Texas Freeways! Proud of my little car :)
